Operational purchasing with a focus on order processing, schedule tracking, and quantity control to ensure supplyWhat you should bring
- Experience in operational purchasing / scheduling / materials management
- Experience in an industrial setting (production / raw materials) is also desirable
- Proficiency in: placing purchase orders, monitoring and tracking delivery dates, determining optimal order quantities (keeping an eye on inventory levels and lead times)
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
- Structured, reliable work style
- Good communication with suppliers (German and English)
- Basic understanding of materials and technical specifications
- Experience with international supply chains
- Basic negotiation skills (price / lead time / quantities)
- Highly organized, able to “stay on top of” deadlines
- Strong with numbers (quantities, inventory, coverage)
- Assertive, yet pragmatic
- Responsibility for supply security
