• Development of custom machine and fixture solutions for a variety of customer requirements
• Design of complete assemblies, machines, and automated manufacturing and assembly lines
• Technical support for projects from initial design through successful commissioning
• Coordination of design solutions with project management, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, and control systems
• Revision and further development of existing machine concepts in collaboration with service, assembly, and sales
• Preparation of all technical documentation required for manufacturing, including drawings, bill of materials, pneumatic diagrams, and I/O lists
• Providing support for technical issues during manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning

What you should bring

• Technical vocational training in the metalworking or mechanical engineering field, e.g., as a precision mechanic or industrial mechanic
• Advanced training as a mechanical engineering technician or a completed technical degree with a focus on design
• Experience in the design of machines and systems, ideally in the field of custom-built special-purpose machinery
• Solid understanding of mechanical assemblies, machine concepts, and manufacturing-oriented designs
• Extensive experience in 3D CAD design and, ideally, knowledge of 2D CAD
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Ability to work independently and systematically with a strong problem-solving mindset
• Team-oriented personality with a proactive approach and a passion for developing technical solutions
