• Turning Workpieces on the CLX 450 TC Universal Turning/Milling Center from DMG
• Independent setup, operation, and monitoring of the machine
• Selecting and changing tools, as well as adjusting cutting parameters
• Ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface finish of the machined workpieces
• Creating, optimizing, and adapting CNC programs
• Conducting regular inspections and measurements on the manufactured parts (worker self-inspection)
• Compliance with quality standards and ensuring product quality
• Maintaining and servicing the equipment, as well as independently troubleshooting minor malfunctions
• Documenting maintenance work and performing required inspections

What you should bring

• Completed vocational training as a toolmaker or machinist specializing in turning, or a comparable qualification
• Experience operating and programming CNC lathes (preferred: Siemens 840D sl Operate control system)
• Knowledge of tool selection and cutting strategies
• Ability to work independently, commitment, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work shifts (2-shift system)
