What awaits you
- Development of custom automation solutions for complex machines and systems
- Programming, implementation, and validation of PLC programs directly on the system
- Commissioning of hardware and software components, particularly PLCs, HMIs, bus systems, safety technology, actuators, sensors, and interfaces
- Conducting process optimizations and error analyses both in-house and on-site at the customer’s location
- Collaboration on the further development and standardization of existing automation and software solutions
- Close technical coordination with customers, as well as support with training and commissioning
- Collaboration with electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, assembly, and other technical departments
- Active involvement in shaping a modern automation environment
What you should bring
- A completed degree in a technical field, additional training as a technician, or a comparable technical qualification
- We also expressly welcome recent graduates or those with vocational training who are entering the workforce directly
- If you have professional experience, knowledge of PLC programming with Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 and/or Siemens TIA Portal is ideal
- Knowledge of drive commissioning and controller optimization is a plus
- Ideally, initial experience in mechanical and plant engineering or special-purpose machine construction
- Strong technical understanding and an interest in automation and control technology
- A systematic, analytical, and structured approach to work
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer assignments and on-site commissioning
