    One of the main activities in a warehouse is to assemble goods and products according to customer orders and then pack, load or dispatch the packages of goods. Warehouse employees and (goods) pickers are responsible for this. Depending on the industry, the packages may vary in size and shape. In most cases, the packed goods are booked into a system by the warehouse staff (e.g. using a scanner). The warehouse staff's tasks often also include quality control of the goods.
