Training at avitea
We asked three trainees
What makes training at avitea particularly exciting? More here!
This is why an apprenticeship at avitea is the right choice
Whoever decides on an apprenticeship at avitea can look forward to varied fields of activity, close supervision by our training managers and independent work from day one. avitea has established itself over the last ten years as a reliable company for a diverse range of apprenticeships: From warehouse logistics to office management to IT specialist for system integration, we offer numerous apprenticeships. We asked three of our trainees: What makes training at avitea particularly exciting?
Claire Kemper
Apprenticeship as businesswoman for office management
Claire Kemper recently started her first year of apprenticeship and is completing her training as an office management assistant at avitea Industrieservice. During her apprenticeship she will get to know the different departments of the company and will have the chance to get a taste of varied activities. What the 26-year-old appreciates about her everyday training is the regulated structures and working hours as well as the support from her colleagues - a real advantage over her previous studies.
"At avitea, you are much more than just a trainee who makes coffee and stands at the copier. You are integrated into the team right from the start, are given important tasks and are involved in all processes."
From day one, we give our trainees responsibility - naturally in close coordination with the team and the training managers. "My colleagues are responsive to me and offer support when I need it," says Claire Kemper. Another advantage: all trainees can participate in avitea's internal training program in addition to their training. "I've already taken part in the training on professional presenting," reports Ms. Kemper. "That was a real enrichment."
Of course, all benefits for internal employees are available to our trainees in full. These include, for example, participation in the sports program "Hella in Motion", social counseling by our health manager and much more.
Steven Klimberg
Training as an IT specialist for system integration
Steven Klimberg was looking for a new professional challenge and found it in his training as an IT specialist for system integration at avitea. During his training, he deals with complex systems and their integration into an overall network. For Steven Klimberg a real enrichment.
"The exciting thing about my day-to-day work at avitea is the interaction of the different systems and the associated interface development. The complexity of the systems always presents me with new tasks that I can grow with."
In addition to technical support for internal employees, the IT team at avitea works on a project-related basis. The trainees are integrated into the projects from the very first day and are given the opportunity to take charge of smaller projects at an early stage. Our IT projects involve, for example, performance evaluations for customers or the optimization of already integrated systems.
Training at avitea is based on a balanced combination of independent development and close support from the entire team. "There are regular exchange meetings for all projects. Here I get the chance to clarify my questions or request help," Steven Klimberg tells us. "Each of my team members always has an open ear and is always willing to help."
Tim Päuker
Training as a personnel services clerk
"That's a long, difficult word for now. Personnel service clerk.", says Tim Päuker. "But I've already been taught well what it means in a very short time at avitea." In his training as a personnel services clerk, Tim Päuker learns everything about placing employees with our customer companies.
"During my working day, I'm in lively contact with people all day long. I appreciate that very much. I attend interviews with applicants, prepare contracts and take care of employees and customers."
Tim Päuker finds taking part in job interviews particularly exciting. Here he learns what to look out for in these interviews, how to behave exactly and which keywords should be given particular attention. In the first year of his apprenticeship, he is often given free rein to supervise active employees.
Transparency and constructive feedback are important keywords in training at avitea. Trainees at avitea are allowed to try things out and then get feedback from their team members on the chosen approach. "That's how I learn something new every day," says Tim Päuker. "The feedback from my colleagues is very important to me. There are no hurdles in communication at avitea. My questions are answered in a friendly and detailed way - even if I ask them a second or third time."
